Matchmaker, Make Me a Match! | The Rhode Show

(FOX Providence) - For those who may have had a hard time finding a Valentine, the help of a professional could be the solution.  Local matchmaker, Karlie Girouard stopped by The Rhode Show to give viewers some insight into today's dating scene.

Karlie said, "It's a challenge trying to find just the right person.  We don't really have a single's scene anymore."  Although there is a lot of buzz surrounding the online dating world, many people don't want to go down that overexposed path.  "People need a new avenue these days," Karlie explains.  She relays feedback that would otherwise be left unsaid. 

So how does the matchmaking begin?  Karlie says, "It's a very personal process."  After several questionnaires and personality tests, Karlie matches couples based off of not only this information, but also what the individual wants in the future.
